A key animation drawing, or genga, of Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion, 1995–96, with a certificate of authenticity. A genga is the animator’s key drawing that sets the pose; the in-between frames are drawn afterward to connect one key to the next. It is pencil or copied line on animation paper, not a painted cel and not a sold print. This sheet is unique. The certificate should be checked against the drawing, and no further provenance is claimed.
