A hand-painted background used in a 1990s television anime, sold with a certificate of authenticity. A background is the scenery painting that sat behind the character cel; the characters were photographed on top of it, so the painting itself usually has no figure on it. This one is an original studio piece, not a poster of a background. The series title is not stated because it is not confirmed on this listing. Check the certificate against the painting before sale.
